Step 1: Select Ubuntu 24 Desktop from Marketplace Apps
Log in to your VPSie control panel and click on New Server to start creating a new instance. This will take you to the server creation page. From there, navigate to the Marketplace Apps section—a curated collection of pre-configured, one-click deployable services.
Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate Ubuntu 24 Desktop.

Step 2: Select VPSie Datacenter
Make sure to choose a data center that’s close to you customers not necessarily close to you. For example, if you’re based in Europe but your clients are in the United States, it’s best to select a U.S. data center location to ensure better performance and lower latency.

Step 3: Choose Your Server Package
Next, select the package that best fits your needs. Start by choosing a plan category, then pick the specific configuration that suits your application or business workload.
Each plan comes with different CPU, RAM, and storage options, so you can scale based on performance requirements and budget.

Step 4: Configure Server Network
Step 4: Configure Server Network
In this step, you’ll choose how your Ubuntu server connects to the network. You can select whether you want a public IPv4 or IPv6 address, or both. If needed, you can also add a private IP for internal networking between your VPSie instances.
This gives you flexibility depending on whether your Ubuntu server will face the public internet, operate internally, or both.

You can add an SSH key and a Startup Script at this stage, or even create new ones if needed. This step is completely optional, feel free to skip it if you don’t need these features.
Additionally, you can attach extra storage to your server beyond what’s included in your selected package. Just choose the storage type from the dropdown and specify the desired size to add it to your server.

You can customize your server’s hostname under the Hostname tab. By default, VPSie will generate one for you automatically.
A default password is also created for your server. If you’d like to set your own, just go to the Password Configure tab, choose Custom, and enter your preferred password.
We also recommend adding a note and tags to help you identify your Ubuntu server later. For extra peace of mind, be sure to enable Automatic Backup, it’s highly recommended.

Now, just click on the Deploy Server button to start creating your Ubuntu 24 Desktop instance. VPSie will take care of the rest, within a few minutes, your fully configured Ubuntu 24 Desktop server will be up and running.
Once the deployment is complete, your Ubuntu server will show up in your server list, ready to use.
