The Power section allows you to manage the power state of your virtual machine (VM) directly from the VPSie control panel. These options provide essential control actions for maintenance, troubleshooting, or day-to-day operations.
- Power Off: Pressing the “Power Off” button will implement all pending changes on VPSie to power off your server. It is strongly recommended to utilize the Windows/Linux GUI or CLI for this purpose instead.
- Shutdown: Pressing the “Shutdown” button will initiate a hard shutdown. To prevent potential data or configuration loss, it is advised to use the operating system’s shutdown feature.
- Reboot: Selecting the “Reboot” button will restart your VPSie directly from your control panel.
- Reset: Clicking the “Reset” button triggers an immediate hard reset for your VPSie.
