Create Container Registry
Choosing the right data center region is the first step in setting up your environment. Select the data center region where you want to deploy the registry.
Now, enter a unique name for your registry. The name must only contain lowercase alphanumeric characters and dashes. Keep in mind that this registry name is permanent and cannot be changed later, so choose carefully.
Next, select a plan that suits your needs and click the Subscribe button to enable it. Once you’ve done that, click the Create Registry button to initiate the creation process.
This will set up your new registry based on the selected plan and your specifications.
Once the registry is created, it will appear on the registry list. You have the option to upgrade your plan whenever necessary.
Create Repositories
To create repositories, simply click on the Registry Name that you have created. Then you will be taken to the Repository creation page.
- Add a Name and Description to Your Repository.
- In the Visibility section, choose “Public” if you want this repository to appear in Docker Hub search results. Alternatively, select “Private” if you prefer it to remain hidden.
- Enable Auto-scan if needed. It automatically scans images and reports any vulnerabilities along with their severity. Otherwise, you will need to perform the scans manually.
Next, click on ‘Create‘.
Once the repository is created, it will appear in the list of repositories available for management.
Click on the Repository Name to access the repository management page.
You can create new Tags for your repositories here. Simply enter your App Name and Tag Name, and then check the Commands section for instructions on how to push, pull, and perform other actions.
