The Access section in the VM settings of your VPSie control panel allows you to manage essential remote access options for your virtual machine.
Root Password Management:
You have the ability to change the root password of your VM with two convenient options:
- Auto-Generated Password: A strong, system-generated password will be created automatically.
- Manual Password Entry: You can set your own custom password.
Simply select your preferred option from the drop-down menu, and the system will apply the change securely.
Note: After updating the root password, make sure to use the new credentials when connecting via SSH or console.
Console Access:
VPSie offers two types of console access for managing your VM directly from the control panel:
- New Window: Launches the console in a separate browser window for easier viewing and interaction.
- Embedded Frame: Opens the console within the same page, directly inside the control panel interface.
These options provide flexibility based on your preference and browser compatibility.
