LiveHelperChat is an Open source – Live Support chat for your website. Web and desktop clients. Co-Browsing, XMPP notifications, GTalk, Jabber, Openfire, Skype, Chrome extension, Node.js support, MySQL and more
Live Help Chat is not a resource hungry so a package with 1GB is recommended however it will work also fine with 512MB memory.
1- Start by creating an account on VPSie by using this unique link.
2- Once you select your package and datacenter location leave the rest of the options to default.
3- Instantly after VPSie creation you will receive an email with root/password as well as initial database unique credentials needed for the setup wizard.
4- If you already pointed the A record to the subdomain then you can use your FQDN to access the wizard.
http://support.mywebsite.com or else use the IP address.
1- We recommend you using a fully qualified domain name FQDN as the hostname that way you don’t have to touch the server configurations.
Example : support.mywebsite.com
2- If your website DNS is managed outside of VPSie DNS – All you have to do is create an A record for support pointing to your VPSie LHC IP address.
Once done you can use the FQDN to complete the setup as seen in the video.
